Founded in 2007, the Jibilika Festival is a vibrant celebration of youth culture in Zimbabwe. This annual event brings together young artists from all ten provinces to showcase their talents on a national stage. The festival promotes dance, music, skateboarding, graffiti, beatboxing, and fashion, aiming to empower young people, build their capacities, and develop their talents while providing entertainment.
The festival also addresses important social issues such as drug abuse, sexual reproductive health, and HIV/AIDS, incorporating these themes into its programming. During the festival, there are training and development workshops, exhibitions, and performances held in various communities. The Jibilika Festival has played a pivotal role in discovering and empowering numerous Zimbabwean creatives who have risen to stardom, including Jah Prayzah, Probeatz, Noni, and Suhn et al.
